10% fare hike from today

  • SOURCE: Classfm | qwesa2big
  • Members of the Concerned Drivers Association and True Drivers Union have increased their fares by 10 per cent, effective today, Monday, 28 May 2018.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by David Agboado and Yaw Barimah, PROs of the two groups, respectively.

According to the groups, the increase has become necessary due to the “rapid and insensitive increase in fuel prices in recent times.”

The groups said they are left with no option than to “share this unwarranted burden put on us by the government with our customers”, and have called on passengers to cooperate with the drivers in this regard.
