  • engenEngen, one of the fastest growing petroleum products and convince marketers in the sub-Saharan African and the Indian Oceans Islands is set to introduce a cashless fleet payment solution known as the 1-Card in Ghana within the first quarter of next year.

This was revealed by the managing Director Mr. Henry Akwaboah at a press briefing in Accra.

He said Engen Ghana Limited, which operates 21 service stations in the country has plans to open many more to pursue its innovative retail, convenience and payment offering to a wider spread of motorist, while helping their commercial customers to control, monitor and therefore better manage their fuel expenses.

He further stated that the 1-Card is a new generation fleet solution for safe, secure transactions that will help keep customers in control of their fleet expenses.

It will also give them as the fleet owners’ greater assurance that their monies are actually spent on products used by their vehicles.

The 1-Card is a complete fuel management solution that is convenient, secure and simple.

Card holders are able to restrict the types of products the card can be used to purchase, where they can be purchased and how much can be purchased, thus giving customers as fleet managers the ultimate control over their fleet.

Some of the benefits of the Engen 1-Card include; no cash transaction, accurate records of vehicle use, constant checks and balances as well as flexibility.
