27 students of the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani, have benefited from the Ghana National Petroleum Company’s scholarship scheme.
The 249 thousand Ghana cedis worth of Scholarships is in fulfillment of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
Presenting the checks to the beneficiaries, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Emmanuel Opuni-Frimpong, urged the beneficiaries to study hard to merit the scholarship.
He warned that it could be scrapped if they do not perform academically as expected.
