The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and FAT Africa would like to invite you to the following event
Venue: Alisa Hotel
Date: Starting 09:00am-14:00pm Thursday 20th August 2015
The GNPC is the most active SOE in Ghana, participating in upstream petroleum activities on behalf of the Government of Ghana. The GNPC’s mandate has expanded in recent years, with the creation of GNPC Exploreco and the government’s decision to put Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) under their control.
In May 2015 the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) made their audited accounts and a five-year investment strategy publically available. This is an important and welcome stride in transparency in the petroleum sector. Following this, the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and FAT-Africa are organising a half-day event, comprising a range of stakeholders, to discuss this important information.
