The beneficiaries who graduated this year were presented with the tools and equipment during the Tarkwa Mine Consultative Committee Meeting, which was held on May 19 in order to help them start their trade.

This forms part of the company’s commitment to its core values of rolling up corporate social responsibility programmes to invest in the human resource of indigenes of the mining communities.

Some of the equipment and tools presented to the beneficiaries included industrial sewing machines, welding equipment, oxygen gauge, sets of spanners, safety boots and uniforms, anda sets of screw drivers.
