The Ministry of Energy will meet stakeholders in the energy sector at the La Palm hotel on Wednesday 28 March 2018 to receive inputs, comments and suggestions on the draft energy policy. This forms part of stakeholder consultations across the country on the revised draft Energy Policy.

The consultations have been divided into 4 zones including northern, middle, coastal and Accra zones. We recall the draft policy document was preceded by the Ghana Energy Summit in June 2017. The summit was sanctioned by the President H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo considering Government policy initiative of ensuring Ghana has a fully functional Energy sector which delivers on its mandate to build an energy economy with reliable supply of high quality energy services for the Ghanaian economy and for export.
Recognizing the important role of partners and stakeholders in shaping the policy and raking in investments to the sector, the engagement will provided an excellent opportunity for dialogue and constructive engagement towards the development sector.
