  • The trends, news and issues about the extractives sector was closed with the 8th Annual Ghana Summit which saw the participation of International Oil and gas firms, companies and stakeholders across Africa.  After a long weekend, Daily Graphic reports on Page 23, a supportive role played by Persus Mining company as part of its Cooperate social responsibility. Persus Mining support Tuberculosis and lung disease fight by donating two hundred and fifteen thousand Ghana cedis. The money will go a long way to support the upcoming conference which kick start from July 10th to 23rd.

    Also, the dailies reports on page 28 highlights on the just ended 8th Annual Ghana Summit Exhibition which was held on Thursday 22nd June, 2017.

    Furthermore, the paper on Tuesday disclosed ‘’Ghana’s Oil and Gas infrastructure attracts Chinese Multinational firms on Page 20. It further reports that Chinese multinational firm Yantai Jereh has expressed interest in supporting key infrastructure development in the oil and gas industry.
