    INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – PREQUALIFICATION OF INTERESTED PARTIES FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF FULLY FURNISHED CONTAINERIZED HOUSING UNITS AT OBUASI MINE, GHANA

    1. INTRODUCTION

    Anglogold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited (the “Company”) is a gold mining company which owns and operates the Obuasi Mine (the “Mine”) in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The Company is located in the Ashanti Region of Southern Ghana approximately 60km south of Kumasi.

    The Mine has a camp facility made up of forty (40) containerized units called the 40-man camp. The containerized units are self-contained and furnished.

    The Company, as part of its Operational Readiness preparations, intends to expand the camp facility by installing additional 20nr x 2 man sleeper containerized housing units complete with baths.

    The Company therefore invites interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the project.

    1. SCOPE OF WORKS

    The scope of works shall be the provision of all materials, plants, equipment, labour necessary for the supply and installation of a fully furnished 20nr x 2 man sleeper containerized housing units complete with baths in Obuasi Mine.

    1. INFORMATION REQUIRED
    • Detailed Contractor’s information with Organisation structure, List of manpower with CVs of key personnel, Support agencies and other facilities and resources.
    • Details of experience in similar works done in the last three years and similar contracts/agreements currently under execution under headings:
    1. Brief scope of work
    2. Value of work in Ghana Cedis (GHs)
    3. Contract duration
    • Service provider should submit a list of current or previous clients as references
    • Details of Business presence in Ghana (this should be supported with Business registration documents)
    • Details of Ghanaian participation (this should be supported with documentation of Company ownership)

    Interested parties must submit their Expression of Interest letter together with all required supporting information to ebonna@anglogoldashanti.com not later than 13h00 hours Ghana time on July 24, 2018. (The “EOI” submission deadline)

    Only interested parties that submit EOI with the required information by the EOI submission deadline shall be considered for prequalification.

     

    INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – PREQUALIFICATION OF INTERESTED PARTIES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TWENTY (20) NO. FOUNDATION AND CIVIL REPAIRS OF 40 MAN CAMP (OPERATIONAL READINESS PRJECT) AT OBUASI MINE, GHANA

    1. INTRODUCTION

    Anglogold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited (the “Company”) is a gold mining company which owns and operates the Obuasi Mine (the “Mine”) in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The Company is located in the Ashanti Region of Southern Ghana approximately 60km south of Kumasi.

    The Mine has a camp facility made up of forty (40) containerized units called the 40-man camp. The containerized units are self-contained and furnished.

    The Company, as part of its Operational Readiness preparations, intends to expand the camp facility by constructing additional 20 Nos. foundation pedestals to receive additional containerised units and perform other general renovation works at the Camp.

    The Company therefore invites interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the project.

    1. SCOPE OF WORKS

    The scope of works shall be the provision of all materials, plants, equipment, consumables, small tools, labour including supervisory personnel to undertake repair works and construction of 20. No pedestal unit to receive additional containerised unit at the 40 man camp in Obuasi Mine. The works to be carried out shall include but not limited to the following:

    • Construction of foundation pedestals, walk ways and sewage lines
    • Civil works including renovation of damaged slabs at the camp
    • Replacement of faulty door locks
    • Roofing of TV room at the camp

    INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – PREQUALIFICATION OF INTERESTED PARTIES FOR ANYINAM LODGE REFURBISHMENT AND UPGRADE – CIVILS (OPERATIONAL READINESS PROJECT) AT OBUASI MINE, GHANA

    1. INTRODUCTION

    Anglogold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited (the “Company”) is a gold mining company which owns and operates the Obuasi  Mine (the “Mine”) in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The Company is located in the Ashanti Region of Southern Ghana approximately 60km south of Kumasi.

    The Mine owns the Anyinam Lodge. The Lodge is equipped to the standard of a 2-star hotel that is in a class of its own, located in the land of gold, surrounded by hills and lush vegetation. It has a world of serenity that features self-contained rooms of various categories. Other facilities at the lodge include a restaurant, laundry, terrace bar and swimming pool.

    The Company, as part of its Operational Readiness preparations, intends to engage a Contractor to undertake refurbishment works at the Anyinam Lodge facility.

    The Company therefore invites interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the project.

    1. SCOPE OF WORKS

    The scope of works shall be the provision of all materials, plants, equipment, consumables, small tools, labour including supervisory personnel to undertake refurbishment of the Anyinam Lodge Facility. The works to be carried out shall include but not limited to the following:

    • Refurbishment of accommodation facilities
    • General civil works
    • Kitchen upgrade
    • Terrace structure and floor upgrade
    • Refurbishment of walk-in chillers area
    • Dry store renovation works
    • Local food kitchen
    • Palaver Hart (Wet Mess)
    • Repairs of swimming pool
    1. INFORMATION REQUIRED
