    SRI EMAS is an indigenous Ghanaian company and delivers integrated offshore solutions in Ghana. These include SURF Installation, Floater and Mooring Installation, Pipe lay, accommodation and Marine Support, coupled with a track record of offshore engineering solutions for the entire oilfield lifecycle.

    SRI EMAS as part of development its business, requires the services of the following cadre of professionals:

    MASTER

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for all necessary statutory trading certificates and other customary port documents.
    • Ensure that the vessel is navigated in a safe and professional manner
    • Responsible for the SAFETY of the vessel, crew, cargo and the environment
    • Responsible for the overall management, planning, organization and control of all vessel activities.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • STCW 95 (A-II/2) Certificate of Competency
    • Full DP Operator’s Certificate
    • Fully conversant with Flag State Maritime Law/Legislation
    • Able to communicate effectively in English, in accordance with STCW Code Table A-II/I

    CHIEF ENGINEER

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for controlling all engineering and electrical procedures
    • Responsible in deploying the Engine Room personnel to carry out the PMS
    • Ensures that all machinery/equipment onboard is inspected within class, and meets the legal and company requirements
    • Any additional duties within his/her own experience and capabilities

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Chief Engineer certificate in accordance with STCW ’95 requirements
    • Basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Familiar with TM Master

    SECOND ENGINEER

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deploy Engine Room personnel in daily specific tasks, observing and practicing safe working practices always
    • Carry out and supervise of all engine Planned Maintenance Schedule requirement
    • Maintain Engine Room stores inventory and prepare stores and lubricants
    • Responsible for maintenance and repair of all company-owned equipment on board.

    REQUIREMNTS

    • Second Engineer certificate in accordance with STCW 95 requirements
    • Basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Proficient in English and Excellent interpersonal skills

    THIRD ENGINEER

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintenance of machinery under the direction of the Second Engineer with special responsibility for auxiliary machinery, pumps and compressors
    • Supervision of all electrical equipment and services
    • Safe keeping of the assigned engine room watch
    • Carry out all analysis tasks for cooling water, sanitary water, fule oil and oil for all equipment

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Third Engineer certificate in accordance with STCW 95 requirements
    • Basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook)
    • Proficient in English and Excellent interpersonal skills

    SECOND OFFICER

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist the First Officer with maintenance of navigating equipment
    • Responsible as ‘Back Up’ HLO
    • Ensuring all Life Saving and Fire Fighting equipment are positioned according to the ships approved safety plan
    • Carry out planned maintenance and physical checks at determined intervals on all equipment, including the expiry dates and replacement of batteries

    REQUIREMENTS

    • STCW 95 (A-II/1) Certificate of Competency
    • Appropriate proficiency in the operation of GMDSS
    • Recognized DP Operator’s Certificate
