    Job Title:  M003-ESG-Manager, Equipment Maintenance

     

    Job Capsule:

    Under broad direction, organizes and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining Halliburton equipment at one or more facilities. Responsible for ensuring the duties of the Maintenance department are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Develop and implement programs to ensure safety within the Internal Equipment Maintenance group. Develop and implement programs to ensure Service Quality and equipment reliability. Coordinate the acquisition, transfer/deliver, retirement and disposal of equipment. Develop and implement and/or maintain processes and measures to insure the accuracy of SAP data. Supervises others either directly or though subordinates. Coordinates diverse activities within a functional area. Plans work and administer policies. Job roles have budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impact a revenue center’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions. Job role contributes directly to value creation. Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Technical School certificate and 10 years of experience in related fields and management experience. Experience in negotiating skills, business financials training, management training, competencies & personnel skills training, diversity training and HR related training.

     

    Operational Responsibilities as above & below but not limited to:

    • Responsible for all aspects of staffing requirements within the equipment maintenance department
    • Partner with appropriate internal and external customers to meet the Company’s needs, and achieve the Equipment organization’s goals
    • Direct the Procurement and Materials departments on the cost effective purchase of parts and supplies, selection of suppliers, and establishment of inventory levels for repair parts for a large geographical area
    • Develops and implements training programs for employees
    • Oversees and manages the fabrication of equipment built within the area
    • Interacts with equipment suppliers on warranty or reliability issues
    • Ensures relevant company/regulatory policies and procedures are followed (Health, Safety, Environment, PII, QA, State and Federal requirements, etc.)
    • Actively participate in Company’s Knowledge Management process (knowledge sharing)
    • Works with Senior Equipment Manager to establish maintenance policies, procedures and standards.

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in related fields
    • Possession of a Technical School Certificate
    • Detailed knowledge of equipment use and operation as well as Halliburton HMS systems
    • Detailed knowledge of the entire line of Halliburton Internal Maintenance Equipment as applicable to deep-water environments and use of technical software & equipment such as Hdraulic Fracturing, Cementing deep water, Coil Tubing, Pumping & Pressure Services all to 15,000 psi & above pressures
    • The candidate should have a strong engineering background with the ability o mentor local junior engineers to help the in-country training of personnel
    • 10 years of personnel management & experience required as a minimum in oilfield service industry with sound knowledge of Halliburton technologies and processes & equipment.

     

     

     

    Geographical Area Covered: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, Mauritius, Chad, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda

    Duty Station: Takoradi, Ghana
