    Yinson  Group was established in 1983 as a transport agency , with Yinson Holdings Berhad being incorporated in 1993 and subsequently listed  on the Malaysian stock exchange, Following the acquisition of Fred Oslen Production  AS in December 2013 and the award of  the  OCTP project by ENI Ghana , Yinson Production has grown to be the 6th  largest FPSO operator  in the world . We currently have offshore Production Units operating in Ghana, Gabon, Nigeria and Vietnam. In Ghana, we were incorporated in May 2014 as joint venture with Oil and Marine Agencies Ghana Limited (CMA). OMA Ghana offers offshore and onshore logistics support to customers in the Oil & Gas Industry. Yinson Production West Africa Limited is the joint venture company. We operate and carry out maintenance activities on FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor offshore Cape Three Points. YPWAL is currently recruiting various positions on the FPSO.

    1. Senior Electrician – JOB REF: GHOS-SEIT-02

    Mission

    Maintain, repair and ensure uninterrupted operation of the unit’s electronic and electrical equipment.

    Scope

    • Area of responsibility covers electrical and instrumentation equipment on whole unit.
    • Monitoring and troubleshooting of Emergency Shutdown, Fire and Gas Detection systems and ICSS.
    • Supervise Electrician, Instrument Technician and DCS Technician

    Duties

    1. Pumpman JOBREF: GHOS-PMAN-05

    Mission

    Routine maintenance and repairs to cargo, ballast and IG system.

    Assist the CSUP and /or Cargo Operator in all cargo handling, tank cleaning and ballasting operations.

    Area of responsibility covers all cargo handling equipment on deck and in pump room.

    Duties

    –       Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and procedures applicable to his responsibilities keep all tools, equipment stores etc. related to his duties in good order and to maintain  stock records and advise  on stock orders as required by CSUP

    • Carry out greasing , maintenance and other routine as instructed
    • Involved in cargo / ballast system and equipment tests as directed by CSUP
    • Taking careof pump  room bilges and cleanliness in pump room

    1. Senior Topside and Compressor Technician – JOB REF: GHOS-STCT-06

    Mission

    Ensuring proper and continuous functioning of gas compression with minimum downtime

     

    Scope

    Maintenance and monitoring of gas compressors skids and auxiliary topside equipment.

    Duties

    • Liaisewith storekeeper  and SMTE  for spare parts  inventory
    • Familiar withComputerized Maintenance Management System

    1. Senior Process Fields Operator: JOB REF: GHOS-SPOP-08

    Mission

    Execute safe and efficient operation of process plant

     

    Scope

    Area of responsibility covers monitoring of production plant from PCR or in the process plant as assigned by the PSUP.

    The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description.

     

    Duties

    • Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities.
    • Execute and coordinate actions to maintain utilities and energy sources necessary to support daily production.
    • Assist to organize  and control operation of process plant, PCR and relevant utility  systems
    • Execute performance and compliance testing of wells, diagnosis and optimization of production systems.
    • Monitorand control process plant  with minimum down time
    • Operate and monitor process plant, relevant utility systems, PCR Perform troubleshooting.
    • Operateand monitor  safety  control systems
    • Operate, monitor and troubleshoot subsea well control systems.
    • Inform CCR of any changes in process parameters that may affect the cargo quality or significantly affect effluent water quality.
    • Preparerequired reports , keep logs and maintain  appropriate documentation
    • Gather and compile data production reports and maintain a comprehensive log of all production activities.
    • Analyzeproduction  report figures
    • Assist in meeting of Production Objectives.

    • Perform process plant and subsea systems start up and shutdown operations.
    • Supervise JPOPs to competently perform all production operations independently.
    • Supervise and carry our repair work, isolations and planned maintenance, provide correct records of same.
    • Monitor pipe work condition via corrosion probe reading, ultrasonic thickness checks and iron counts.

    1. Senior Maintenance Technician Deck: SMTD (Chief Engineer):JOB REF: GHOS-SMTD-03

    Mission

    Execute safe and efficient maintenance of the auxiliary equipment on FPSO.

     

    Scope

    Area of responsibility covers maintenance of all appliances outside Engine Room, including decks and superstructures. The management may assign additional tasks not listed in the Job Description.

     

    Duties

    • FollowPermit  to work  procedures to the assigned  task or to be  executed under his responsibility
    • Delegate and supervises the deck crew and all activities executed by the deck departments routine FPSO activity.
    • Supervises fitters and all maintenance activities executed outside engine room.

    1. Instrument Technician –INST JOB REF: GHOS-INST-09

    Mission

    Maintain, repair and ensure uninterrupted operation of all Instruments related to the operation of the FPSO.

    Duties

    • Maintain, repair, update and calibrate all instrument systems.
    • Know Emergency Shutdown and Fire and Gas Detection systems.
    • Follow PTW system, rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities.
    • Take supportive role as backup personnel to SEIT and EIT.
    • Responsible for checking and recording of status on all process field instrumentation.
    • Liaise with storekeeper and PSUP for spare parts stock and necessary purchasing.
    • Assist in maintenance of various safety and alarm systems in whole unit.
    • Carry out routine safety tests and checks on equipment as required by SEIT/PSUP.
    • Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
    • On-the –job training of colleagues and trainees.
    • Member of the Emergency Response Team.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Electro-electronic education at higher level.
    • 5years’ experience as an instrument Technician with Production Plant operation
    • Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix.

    1. Mooring Master –MM JOB REF: GHOS-MM-15

    Mission 

    MM is responsible to ensure that mooring operation is planned and executed in accordance with international marine rules, OCIMF recommendations, government regulations, good seamanship and company ‘s approved procedures

     

    Scope

    Area of responsibility covers export tankers mooring position keeping and unmooring operation at the offshore terminal.

    Duties:

    • Technicalacceptance  of export  tanker for lifting’s at the offshore terminal
    • Assessment of export tankers calling the offshore terminal
    • Assessmentof tugboats and other boats assisting during lifting
    • Evaluatingof lifting  criteria  and assessment of conditions
    • Final decision concerning taking export tanker to berth and on his discretion unmooring
    • Ensure that mooring system and export hose condition is as per required standard and in good condition.
    • Tandem mooring and position keeping unmooring
    • Establishingwith his assistant  24hrs  watch on the export tanker bridge  monitoring loading  operation , weather condition, handling tugboats  or other  vessels involved monitoring  mooring hawser tension and configuration, cargo loading  rate and loading
    • Handling routines for the offshore  terminal check  list statement  of facts, pilot certificate signing letter of protests on behalf  of the Client
    • Evaluationof all required  permits has been obtained, allowing  to moor tanker, connect export hose, commencement of loading and completion of loading
    • Mooring /loading master should not sign any cargo documents, ullage reports, OBQ reports.
    • Ensurethat  sufficient  assistance is given  export  tanker crew required for safe  and effective handling  of export hose and tugboat
    • Inspect export tanker forward and aft mooring arrangement to be sure that is in accordance to required standard.
    • Ensure that all  proper  communication , including  communication in emergency  is established between FPSO   export tanker and tugboat
    • Familiarwith  the PTW System
    • Organizesafety  briefing  with master and chief  officer before loading operation
    • Organizestart-up of loading operation and monitoring  upon loading is completed and cargo  valves secured
    • Ensure that before leaving export tanker, master obtained all necessary information required for navigation  in vicinity of the offshore terminal

     

    Qualification and experience:

    • Essential Criteria –to have completed and meet the standard of STCW code A-III/2 for masters on tankers> 3000GR.
    • Have completed advance training in ship handling
    • 10 to13 years offshore experience or  on  seagoing tankers
    • Standardof competence  according  to Yinson Competence  Assurance Matrix
    • Excellent command of English language both spoken and written.

    1. Offshore Installation Manager:JOB REF: GHOS-OIM-17

    Mission

    Ensure safety, security, compliance with regulation and manage offshore installation.

    Organizes, supervises and delegates the activities of the personnel.

    Ensure timely and professional performance of the preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repairs.

    Manage emergencies.

     

    Scope

    Area of responsibility covers the whole unit and 500 meters zone around the installation.

    May act as a Mooring Master on-board the visiting export tankers as approved by the Company (see MM job description)

     

    Duties

    • OIM shall be fully conversant with the Yinson Management System and shall develop, maintain and implement the system on board the unit.
    • Regularly review the management system and request for changes if required.
    • Ensurefull compliance  with all mandatory procedures and regulations that relate to offshore operations

    Manage and ensure:

    • All required certificates and permits are obtained and valid
    • The unitis equipped , well maintained and seaworthy in all respects
    • The personnel is competent and effective organization on board is safe and suits operational demands  which may  include various  duties  being assigned differently than content of this  work procedures

    • Emergencyresponse  is carried  out with due  regard to life, environment and asset
    • Management of human resources on board is adequate, with ample consideration to multicultural aspect.

    • Essential Criteria-to have completed approved education and training and meet the standard of competence specified in section A-II/2 of the STCW Code for masters on ship of 3000 gross tonnage or more

    1. ASSISTING MOORING MASTER JOB REF: GHOS                  AMM-18

    Mission

    Assisting Mooring / Loading master during export operations. Assisting Mooring Master shall ensure that operation is executed in accordance with international marine rules OCIMF recommendations Ghanaian Government rules and good seaman ship practice

     

    Scope

    • Monitor that all required permits were obtained to connect and disconnect export hose.
    • Ensure the operation is planned and executed with good workmanship and in accordance with approved work procedures.
    • Monitor that mooring system and export hose areas are as per required standard and in good condition.

    Duties

    • Assistingtanker  crew during mooring and unmooring
    • Assistingtanker crew while handling tugboat’s towlines
    • Assistingtanker crew  while connecting and disconnecting  export hose
    • Substitutefor Mooring  Master on tanker  bridge during loading operation
    • Monitoringloading , weather condition , handling tugboats or boats  involved in operation monitoring hawser  tension and configuration cargo loading rate and loading performance
    • Maintains communication with tugboats, tanker personnel and FPSO Routine control of tow lines export hose and mooring hawser during loading
    • AssistingMaster of export  tanker during awaiting for cargo documents
    • Signing for receipt (only) letter of protest and statement of facts in the absence of the Mooring Master. (Not to sign any cargo document and ullage  reports )
    • Responsible for export hose tool box and accessories of tanker rail hose

    Qualification

    • Meet requirement for certification as an officer in charge of a navigation watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more.

    • Have completed the Company’s Training Program for Assistant Mooring Master.

     

    1. Project Coordinator/IFS Planner                JOB REF: GHOS PCIFS -19

    Mission

    The Project Coordinator is the Project Managements representative on site.

    Lead and supervise the Site Team, its performance at any site and during execution of the different project activities.

    Scope

    Area of responsibility covers all project related issues for the LEW project.

    Duties

    • Keep close dialog on a regular basis with the units OIM concerning but, not limited to the following issues:
    • Unitsoverall operation mode and plans for execution of activities
    • Generaland specific  HSE issues and execution of the Permit to work regime
    • Mobilization and demobilization of personnel and equipment
    • Requirement for bed space and availability including catering
    • Logistics that may interfere with  operation of unit  and /or project  activities
    • Overall and activity specific schedule
    • Ensurethat  the Permit  to work system is adhered to for all project activities
    • Ensurefocus on safety awareness in all aspects of all activities
    • Ensurethat all relevant  policies , procedures/ task plans and check lists are available and  communicated to relevant personnel
    • Supervisecontractors  adherence  to safety and take  action as appropriate
    • On a regular basis and especially upon completion of activities; perform quality control of work performed and report to superior within the project. Follow-up according to instructions
    • Supervise general   performance and advise or assist as found appropriate, but not limited to the following performance issues.
    • Any deviation  from quality  standards according  to contract  and scope of work
    • Negligence to safety awareness
    • Concerns with regards to schedule
    • Personnel resources, their competence , skills and if sufficient resources are available
    • Any otherconcerns
    • Supervise all mobilization  and demobilization  plans and  communicate to Project  Management without delay if interference  or any concern  arises

    • Keep track  of time consumed  and progress regarding  contractor personnel, equipment on hire  and consumption  of consumables
    • Keep trackon  and agree with  contractor on any  down time  or time off hire documentation  and verify  as described above
    • Any minorpersonnel issues raised within the Site Team shall be  handled within the  team as far  as practical

    Other personnel issues shall be reported to the Project Management for their consideration and further actions

     

    Qualification

    Essential criteria –to meet the standard STCW code A-III/2 for chief engineer on ships>3000KW propulsion power.

    Experience from similar positions from larger projects within the international oi l& gas industry or from positions dealing with technical maintenance and maintenance philosophy.

    MSUP, 2ndENG, Shipyard supervisor, Shipyard engineer.

    Excellent command in English written and spoken
