    REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

    PROCUREMENT OF SECURITY SERVICES AND JANITORIAL SERVICES

    BACKGROUND

    The Petroleum Commission was established by an act of Parliament, ACT 821, in July 2011, to regulate and manage the utilization of petroleum resources and to coordinate the policies in relation to them. The commission intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation for the payment under the contract for the:

    LOT 1 PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES.

    CONTRACT IDENTIFICATION NO. GAR/PC/55/01/2018

    LOT 2 PROVISION OF JANITORIAL SERVICES.

    CONTRACT IDENTIFICATION NO. GAR/PC/JS/02/2018

    SCOPE OF WORK

    LOT 1 Provision of Man Guard Security Services for the Commission’s Corporate Head Office. The Scope of Work shall include:

    • Guarding of the car park area
    • Reception
    • Entry and Exit Points
    • Data Centre

     

    LOT 2 Provision of Janitorial Services for the Commission’s Corporate Head Office(Main Building and the Data Centre). The scope of work shall include:

    • Daily cleaning of all offices and the external area, dusting and cobweb removal in the offices,
    • Cleaning of all washrooms
    • Cleaning of internal glasses and external glasses
    • Landscaping services
    • Quarterly general cleaning among others.

    The commission invites eligible firms to express their interest in providing the above services, Interested firms shall provide information indicating their qualification and competence to perform the services (Legal status of firm, description of similar services, availability of appropriate skills among staff, valid SSNIT and GRA clearance Certificate, VAT Certificate etc.)

    Companies shall be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003(ACT 663)as amended by the Public Procurement Amendment Act, 2016 (ACT 914) of the Republic of Ghana.

    Interested Companies may obtain further information at the address below from (9:00hrs to 16hrs GMT (Monday through Friday).

    Expression of interests in sealed envelopes clearly marked ‘’LOT1, PROVISION OF SECURITY” with the package number GAR/PC/SS/01/2018 and LOT2, PROVISION OF JANITOTRIAL SERVICES(MAIN Building and Data Centre) with the Package number GAR/PC/JS/02/2018; shall be dropped into Tender Box located at the Reception of the Commission by 10am on 12th March, 2018.

    Late submission shall be rejected.
