VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT AT NALCO CHAMPION GHANA LTD

Nalco Champion Ghana Limited (NCGL), an Ecolab company operating in the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas value chain, seeks to recruit a qualified Ghanaian national for the position of BASE OPERATOR/INVENTORY OFFICER.

The job location is in Takoradi, Western Region, and he position will be on six-month contract basis, with a strong possibility of converting to a full time employee at the end of the period. Remuneration will be based on the years of experience of the candidate.

The duties of the employee shall include:

• Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner
• Adhere to the Takoradi Plant Safety principals
• Support the Quality Improvement Process
• Maintain the process area in a clean and orderly fashion
• Participate in morning tool box meetings and evening Gemba walks
• Assist with all production and packaging process
• Assist with the preparation of all shipments from the base
• Assist wit the receipt and storage of all imports to the base
• Take samples as directed
• Carry out any other instructions given by the employer reasonably related to the business of the employer

Minimum job requirement

• Basic qualification of an HND Laboratory Technician
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite
• Must have completed National Service
• Certifications in relevant discipline
