Personality of The Month: Dr. Julliette Twumasi Anokye
Dr Juliette Twumasi-Anokye is a lawyer by profession qualified to practice in both England and Ghana. She has a wealth of experience as a consultant on regulatory issues in the oil and gas sector with over 25 years experience in public law, anti-trust/competition law, economic regulation, local content, supply chain, consumer protection, and policy development in various sectors within the United Kingdom, Europe, and Ghana. She is currently Consultant, Local Content at the Petroleum Commission, Ghana and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Society for Petroleum Engineers. Prior to joining the Petroleum Commission, she was Senior Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Energy, Ghana. She has also worked in a number of senior positions in the regulatory and policy sectors in the United Kingdom, as an adjunct lecturer, and as a lawyer in private practice. Juliette holds a PhD Laws from King’s College, London, an LLM from University College, London, BL from Ghana School of Law, LLB from University of Ghana, Legon and a Postgraduate Certificate in Competition, Regulation and Economics from University of Nottingham.
