Energy minister leads delegation to 2018 Offshore Technology summit

    The Minister of Energy, Boakye Agyarko, is to lead Ghana’s delegation to an offshore technology conference in Houston, USA.

    In a statement signed by Head of Communication and Public Affairs of the Energy Ministry, Nana Kofi Oppong-Damoah, states that the Minister will among others at the summit outdoor Ghana’s first Pavilion and speak at various investment fora on opportunities in Ghana’s oil and gas sector.

    The statement further indicates that the Minister will also meet about 500 companies in the sector.

    The conference is slated to take place from 30th April to 3rd May, 2018, and expected to host over 70,000 participants from 120 countries with over 2,500 exhibitors from 40 countries.
