The General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel International, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah has charged the government to channel the revenue from the oil and gas industry to the benefit of the ordinary Ghanaian.
This he said would avert the chaos some oil rich countries experienced due to the mishandling of the proceeds. Rev Ankrah was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra.
He said Ghana was on the verge of becoming an economic giant due to the oil production, and asked Ghanaians to be grateful to God and pray fervently. Rev Ankrah urged the citizenry to foster unity and do away with ethnic sentiments, hatred and bitterness to accelerate the pace of national development.
