Revenue collectors at the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) are calling for better tools to help them in their operations.

A former Assistant Revenue collector at TOR, Felix Dallor, has revealed that, even though the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is doing its best, it could have done more if attention is paid to it systems.

The TOR revenue point rakes in the second largest revenue for the country after the Ghana Ports and Habours Authority. It satisfies about 30 percent of the country’s revenue target.

Mr. Dallor told Starr Business the TOR revenue collection unit can do more.

We need connectivity so that we can work well and our work is such that we work almost about 15 hours every day and we need these machines so that we can capture the correct data for the government and get the necessary revenue that government need for its wok.

“If government gives us the needed logistics it will enhance our work productively,” Mr. Dallor stated.
