The Kumasi Institute of Technology, Energy and Environment (KITE), in collaboration with the African Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) and the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), is pleased to invite you to a policy dialogue session on the prioritisation of the Annual Budget Funding Amount (ABFA) for the period 2017-2019.
The dialogue session is therefore intended to kick-start a civil society-led national discourse to elicit views and opinions from a cross-section of Ghanaians on how best petroleum revenues could be utilised to engender maximum impact as envisioned by the framers of the PRMA. The first part of the meeting would be used to review ABFA spending from 2011 till date while the second part would be dedicated to thematic break-out sessions for in-depth discussion of various options/interventions that could be considered to benefit from the next phase of ABFA funding. The key policy options emanating from the dialogue would be synthesized and presented to the Minister of Finance. A copy of the tentative agenda for the event is attached to this letter for your perusal.
