Tullow Oil said it had resumed production at its Jubilee field in Ghana, where production has recovered to previous rates.
The London-based company also announced that the Kenyan and Ugandan governments had agreed on a route for a regional crude oil export pipeline. This will allow Tullow to develop the significant discovered oil resources in both countries.
It found no significant hydrocarbons in its Spar-1 well in Suriname, which is now plugged and abandoned.
